So to whoever suggested adding it first, you were correct. Good call.

MoR definitely makes my shortlist of fire skills that are useful in a SF build (the others being liquid flame and maybe meteor shower depending on whether you can fit GoS).

Yeah SF just starts the burn-but the opponent should be constantly burning anyway.
That was me!

I think its a little better because rodgort's keeps them everyone on fire and triggers searing flames, then searing triggers mark. Mind wrack as a cover hex. But i think most of the other stuff is more or less the same.
In PvP maybe only one person needs to bring it tho since its such a fast casting time. Others just bring cover hexes. However, thank you to kess who figured out that Mark triggers before Glowing Gaze's energy gain effect.

I'm having a little trouble working out the right sequence here.

GoLE
MoR
SF -- they're on fire, but not damaged yet
GG -- one guy is damaged
SF -- now they're all damaged
SF -- damage again; burning continues a bit due to MoR, which is the first time MoR has been relevant
GG
SF -- if it's fast enough, they keep burning due to MoR. But if anything is off on the timing, it just causes burn

Plus the targets move around, with hexed ones leaving the target area and unhexed ones arrivng.

This is all further complicated for me because I'm doing most of my nuking with Sousuke along too.

The Glowing Gaze causes another batch of Burning for the next Searing Flames, so at least that target never stops being on fire.

I think that Mark of Rodgort is utter shit BTW.

Peace,

Even when the enemies don't have hex removal???

1 Mark of Rodgort can equal 3 SFs in the first half-minute of an SF bombardment.
